CF-001 is unisex. One size run, cut to the foot rather than to a gender. Find your shoe size in the column that applies to you.

Foot length is the sock measured flat and relaxed. It stretches well beyond this on a foot.
Women’s sizing
Use the US Women’s column. It is not the same number as the men’s column — US women’s sizes run roughly 1.5 sizes higher than men’s for the same foot.
If you wear a US women’s 9, take M. If you wear a US women’s 8, take S.
The sock itself is identical. There is no separate women’s cut, and nothing about the fit is compromised for either foot — it is knit anatomically to the left and right foot, not to an average.
If you wear below a US women’s 6.5, our current size run will be loose on you. We are working on a smaller size. Email us and we will tell you when it lands.
If you size down in your boots
Read this part. It is the reason this sock exists.
Order your true shoe size, not your boot size.
If you wear a US 9 in trainers but a US 8.5 in your cleats, order M (US 8–10). The sock is sized to your foot, not to your boot.
This matters because CF-001 is built for exactly this situation. The whole point of a 1.25mm footbed is that it takes up almost no room in a boot you have already sized down. Ordering a size smaller to make it fit will pull the heel down and shorten the leg — you do not need to.
If you are between sizes
Size down. A US 10 sits at the top of M and the bottom of L. Take M.
These socks are high-stretch — 17% spandex — and a slightly snug sock holds position better than a slightly loose one. A loose grip sock slides, which defeats the point.
The exception: if you have wide feet or a high instep, take the larger size.
How to measure, if you want to be certain
- Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall.
- Mark the paper at the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres.
- Match against the foot length column above.
Measure in the evening. Feet swell over the day, and you play on evening feet, not morning feet.
Measure both. Most people have one foot slightly longer. Size to the larger one.
Left and right
CF-001 is knit anatomically — the left and right socks are different shapes, matched to the foot. Each pair is marked.
The corner bracket on the back of each sock mirrors its partner. Worn as a pair, the two form the upper corners of a goal.
Fit notes
Height. Crew, 195mm on size M — roughly mid-lower calf. Sits above most cut team socks.
Cuff. 15mm band with light compression from knit density, not elastic. Firm enough to stay put through 90 minutes, not tight enough to leave a mark.
Grip. Silicone at forefoot and heel, inside and outside. The inside grip holds the sock to your foot; the outside grip holds the sock to your insole. Both are needed.
First wear. The sock should feel snug going on. If it slides on easily, it is too big.
Still unsure
Email management@clinicalfinish.com with your shoe size, whether you size down in boots, and anything unusual about your feet — wide, narrow, high instep. We will tell you which size to take.
